While it has felt like a soggy summer in much of the Northeast, it sure didn't feel like it this weekend at Mountain Creek. The dusty sand we all know and have come to love created slick conditions while the course ate up tire after tire. All in all it made for a fast, loose and wild ride at the Mountain Creek US Downhill Nationals.
Out of the the 4 racers that made it out to Nationals, all 4 stood on the podium come Sunday afternoon.
@sage kept up the speed at her home mountain and found herself in P1 for Cat 2/3 U19 Women.
@cooper our other Mountain Creek native pushed his way to P2 for Cat 1: 19-29 Men, regardless of getting extra friendly with one of the trees during practice
Chaingang helped round out the class with @justin taking P3 and @jared taking P4!
We're looking forward to a break from racing to get in some practice and some party laps! We'll see you all at Blue Mountain later this month!
