       Today we rode tapia with our new rider Jim. He did very well for a first
timer, considering he rode the whole trail with his front fork locked out. We
did the extra climb up past the junkyard and dropped in to the meadow
area. The weather was a lovely mix of clouds and heavy mist which helped
keep us going.
